This range will replace the existing Glucerna Plus 1.5 kcal (220 ml) ready-to-drink range. Similar to Glucerna Plus 1.5 kcal, Glucerna Advance 1.6 kcal with HMB has a low glycemic index (GI), delivering complete and balanced nutrition with 28 vitamins and minerals to support holistic nutritional care of patients with diabetes.

Glucerna Advance 1.6 kcal with HMB provides more calories per ml and more protein per serving (18.5 g) than Glucerna 1.5 kcal. In addition, it is enriched with arginine (1.3 g/serving), lysine (2.2 g/serving) and calcium beta-hydroxy beta-methyl butyrate (CaHMB) (0.77 g/serving).
